Carlton Black: They still have to create the account. I am looking for where an admin can create multiple accounts like what you can do on Netflix. A parent has an account and there are sub accounts with access. This feature is available on Bubble.io.

Deborah Hearne: Hello ! There is a way to do this in Adalo but you will need to follow a process.

You will need to create a master account ( it can be the first account). Within the app you can add a button that will link to a page where you will have a form to create a new account. In the users collection you could create add one boolean to set it the user is a master user and a relation to the same collection (many to many).

Georgios Grigoriadis: The issue is when a user creates an account for another user, he us logged in as that user. Example: Bob us logged in. He creates an account for Jane. Bob is now logged in as Jane insteadof being logged in as Bob.

Deborah Hearne: you could log out the user once you select the other user.

Georgios Grigoriadis: That means each time Bob creates a new user account he has to log back in. That isn't good for the user experience when there can be a system for users to create accounts for others like there is on Bubble.io.

Deborah Hearne: no, what I mean is that you could have a page with a list where appears all the users connected to the master account. When the user select another user from the list, the current user is disconnected and you will have to connect with the other user.

But if I’m not mistaken you want to connect automatically to the other user?

Georgios Grigoriadis: No. That is not what I want. I want an admin account to be able to create a brand new account for someone like you can do with Netflix. For example, I have a parent with three children. They create an account for each child. What happens is that if an admin creates an account, the admin is signed in as the user they created the account for.

Deborah Hearne: I see, you do this by creating a custom form and attach to the button the « Create a User » action. Otherwise you can check https://www.nocodemonkey.io/ for the form component.

Georgios Grigoriadis: Were you paying attention to me this entire conversation? Are you just trying to discount my request? I already explained why that action does not work for my use case in my first post.

Georgios Grigoriadis: It also seems like you are just trying to promote your custom component creation services.

The functionality should be built into Adalo by default.
