Ayo L: That new Marketplace for components is ridiculous and us CUSTOMERS want more "Additional Database Property Types". This was planned and now is off the list. I want to know what your customers have to do to get you guys to create more properties? 505 of your customers want this, why can't we get it? We pay you money each month for barley any improvements. You let people create "components" but none of it is what your customers are asking for. What is the point of canny if you don't use it to better the software? Josh Johnson Ben Haefele You guys sure did jump on the Location property and working heavily on it. We want more built in features and not to have to rely on developers to create sloppy components that are not even customizable. Such as the "Multi Select Dropdown List" amazing features, but lets be for real it don't look good in my website because I don't round my objects and that "component" forces it to be round and a dark gray. . . I don't know about other customers, but I want change in the software. We ask for these features and it seems like you guys are avoiding what your customers ask for. I'm disappointment that you guys won't even try to give us a deadline. How is this still in Planned after 1.5 years, other items In Progress have a fraction of the votes, this is a critical item, please get this one In Progress. I hope other customers comment their opinions too because this is just not cool.

Devin Rossey: I think if the status is open, it does not mean it is coming. Unless marked as Planned, InProgress, or Completed than it can potentially never see the light of day.

Devin Rossey: The labels on Canny are a bit confusing. I'm cleaning up our "in progress" list this week to focus on things we're actually working on. Mischelle: I agree this has been planned for so long now. This is a MUST to be able to fulfill customers request on projects. I have put my work on hold until we get this items. Without some of these functions we have to create so many work arounds just to make our projects work the way we need them too. We are trying to build the Biggest online and mobile LMS and without this functions it’s hard to design the best user experience.

This is great to see that time fields are planned. If I were able to list data as HH:MM:SS, I would be able to avoid so many work arounds!

Robbie Isaac: Would love to find out how you've worked around, if possible? It's a blocker I have currently

Mohammed: I used visibility logic to list seconds as “0#” if <10 and “#”if >9. It is a pain but it has gotten the job done.

I am looking forward to hopefully:
Barcode, Geo Location, autonumber, color, multi select. These ones would really help the apps that i am working on. Barcode is a really big one and the multi select out of all them. I need theses for the point of sale system I am working on.
I also am working on a Learning Management System and I really wish we had the rich editor. So my users can create content in one place. The way I have it setup now works, but each "Heading, Sub Heading and Body" takes up a lot of sections within a topic. It would be nice if it was just one field.
